KING, QUEEN HOST WEDDING RECEPTION FOR CROWN PRINCE, PRINCESS RAJWA AL HUSSEIN

AMMAN — Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on Thursday hosted a wedding reception for Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein.

Royal Family members, Alseif family members, and a number of Jordan’s guests, as well as Jordanian invitees attended the reception, according to a Royal Court statement.

Their Royal Highnesses arrived at Al Husseiniya Palace accompanied by the Red Motorcade, which drove through the streets of Amman after their marriage ceremony at Zahran Palace.

They were welcomed to the Palace with a sword salute, and renowned artists Mohammad Abdo of Saudi Arabia and Omar Abdallat of Jordan performed a special song composed for the wedding.

The reception also featured a number of Jordanian and Arabic songs, as well as traditional and folk dances.

Their Majesties, Their Royal Highnesses, and Princess Rajwa’s parents shook hands with the reception’s invitees.
