Chaitra Navratri 2024: Celebrations Of These Auspicious 9 Days

Devotees honour the nine forms of Goddess Durga, known as Navadurga, during the festival of Navratri. Devi, also known as Durga Mata, is a symbol of the all-pervading cosmic Energy that pervades all of creation. Some devotees only consume fresh fruit, milk, and water during their whole fast. We think that Goddess Durga offers us inner power and blessings, granting us the ability to fulfil all of our desires. The Kalash is established and a flame is burned for nine days during Chaitra Navratri. Additionally, people refrain from consuming tamasic food items like onion, garlic, meat and alcohol during this period.
