Get ready for a vicious cycle with this pizza-obsessed trainer at Crank
Do you remember your first time going to a Crank class? I’ll never forget it. I went in thinking it was just going to be a regular workout, but I felt euphoric after. The staff at reception instantly made me feel welcome and the instructor was so helpful. How would you describe a class there? Extraordinary. Its layout and lighting are so unique – you honestly can’t find that anywhere else. The dark room makes it easy for you to stay focused and escape reality for 45 minutes. The instructors speak from the heart and teach from the heart – but we also have a beautiful community. A big part of the reason I got hooked on Crank as a client before becoming an instructor was because of how safe I felt.
Away from Crank, where do you like to work out? My love for fitness goes way back. I love it all – lifting weights, swimming, boxing, dancing, the list goes on. But honestly, if I’m not scheduled to teach a class I’m training at Crank – I love getting competitive and seeing my name on the scoreboard. Do you have a favourite restaurant in Abu Dhabi? If you know me, you know I love my pizza. I probably mention Domino’s and Flat Pizzeria at least a thousand times in my classes. So, where are you when you’re not working? This is a funny one, as my work requires a lot of physical movement. So, when I’m not working or working out, I choose to live a very sedentary life. I’m probably on my couch watching Netflix or I’m at the beach frying myself under the sun. However, on payday, we go shopping.
Random fact about you... No matter how active I know I’m going to be throughout the day, I will never skip out on a morning walk.
