TODAY SHOW STAR SARAH ABO SHOWCASES HER NATURAL BEAUTY IN JAW-DROPPING MAKEUP-FREE SELFIE AS 2024 PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES BEGIN

Sarah Abo set temperatures soaring on Saturday when she took to social media to share a jaw-dropping make-up free selfie of herself posing outside the Eiffel Tower.

The Today show co-host, who is currently in Paris to cover the Olympic Games for Channel Nine, was all smiles in the heartwarming picture, as she gave the Peace sign to the camera.

The stunner, 38, highlighted her natural beauty in the eye-popping photo by going make-up free, and rocked a smart casual look in a white tank top paired with black pants and white sneakers.

She accessorised with stylish sunglasses and allowed her jet-black hair to hang freely around her shoulders in loose waves.

The veteran journalist could not wipe the smile off her face as she posed up a storm in front of one of France's most famous landmarks, shortly before attending the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony.

Sarah captioned the photo with some excited words: 'The stage is all set for the final stage of the Paris 2024 opening ceremony.'

It comes after Abo suffered a fashion faux pas on Thursday morning during her work trip to France.

The Today co-anchor was filming a segment for her Channel Nine breakfast show in the French capital when a guest revealed she had broken a huge rule.

Wearing a simple white T-shirt and black jeans, the presenter draped a grey scarf over her shoulders and covered her dark locks with a cream beret.

But when she met up with Australian expat and podcaster Oliver Gee, he was quick to point out 'only tourists and old men in the countryside' wear berets in France.

'I've got my beret on, my baguettes, and I'm about to find out if I can really pull off this whole Parisian thing,' Sarah told viewers at the beginning of the segment.

But Oliver told her: 'Love the baguettes, love the bonjour, not so sure about the beret.'

'What do you mean? Don't all French people wear berets?' Sarah asked and Oliver added: 'Just the tourists and the old men in the countryside. It's not right. I think we need to lose it before we begin.'

The journalist appeared disappointed as she pulled off the hat, saying that she 'was really digging' the look of it.

Sarah flew to France for the Paris Olympics in style last Friday - She was spotted checking into her first class flight at Sydney Airport.
