WHAT TO WATCH ON NETFLIX IN MARCH, INCLUDING THE RELEASE DATE OF THE NEW PEAKY BLINDERS MOVIE

Spring might be around the corner, but we're not quite ready to swap snuggly sofa weekends for al fresco evenings. In part because we're lazy, and in part because there's so much great TV to binge this month, we need as much time on possible to keep up to date.

Want proof? Scroll down to see the trove of new releases hitting Netflix in March. From the long-anticipated return of Peaky Blinders to a new age-gap reality show, here's everything to add to your watchlist.

Vladimir

Release date: 5th March

Rachel Weisz leads this darkly comic, twisty drama based on Julia May Jonas’s bestselling novel, playing a middle-aged professor whose well-ordered life begins to unravel when she becomes obsessed with a younger new colleague, Vladimir (Leo Woodall). As her marriage to her husband (John Slattery) cracks and her professional reputation teeters, her fixation becomes increasingly reckless. The eight episodes have an almost Fleabag feel: there’s plenty of breaking the fourth wall, cheeky asides and clever, cutting comments.

Age of Attraction

Release date: 11th March

Love Is Blind asked whether looks matter – now this new dating experiment is asking if age does. Hosted by real-life age-gap couple Nick Viall (45) and Natalie Joy (27), Age of Attraction throws singles aged 22 to 60 into the mix, removing ages from the equation as they search for love without preconceptions. But as connections deepen and the truth inevitably comes out, the question is whether chemistry can really survive the numbers.

Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere

Release date: 11th March

Louis Theroux turns his lens on the murky, often terrifying world of the online ‘manosphere’ in this feature-length documentary that sees him travel from Miami to Marbella to meet the influencers shaping a new wave of hyper-masculinity. Spending time with prominent figures including Sneako, Myron Gaines and Justin Waller, Theroux immerses himself in a culture built on ‘red-pilling’, rigid gender roles and the promise of male empowerment – while also speaking to the women caught in their orbit. Curious as ever, Theroux not only investigates this online world, but asks the important question: what does this mean for the coming generation of men?

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

Release date: 20th March

This long-awaited Peaky Blinders film picks up years after the series finale, with Cillian Murphy returning as Tommy Shelby, the war-scarred gangster now living in self-imposed exile, haunted by ghosts and estranged from his family. But when his son Duke (Barry Keoghan) is drawn into a dangerous fascist plot back in Birmingham, Tommy is forced to dust off his cap and step back into the world he tried to leave behind. With Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth among the new faces and the threat of another world war looming, expect plenty of the gripping brutality that made Steven Knight’s series a global smash hit.

The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel

Release date: 20th March

This emotional music documentary charts the scrappy early days of the Red Hot Chili Peppers through the eyes of their late co-founder and guitarist Hillel Slovak. Featuring interviews with bandmates including Flea and Anthony Kiedis, it traces their teenage friendship and the creative spark Slovak brought to their sound before his tragic death in 1988. Mixing archive footage with personal reflections, it’s a story about youth, addiction, friendship and the making of one of rock’s biggest bands – and it's backstage access makes it a must-watch for rock fans.
