July 3 to 8: Look at life through the lens

There’s so much more to Riyadh art than just paintings or sculptures. Lose yourself in all kinds of new worlds at this photography exhibition hosted by the Future Creative Residence (FCR) in Riyadh’s JAX District. Free to the public, the exhibition, titled “Visual Voyages”, showcases the works of six talented Saudi photographers, celebrating the rich tapestry of Saudi fashion and culture through photography. Throughout July: It’s Jeddah Season, once again

The much-anticipated Jeddah Season makes its grand return under the slogan “Once Again”. This year’s festival, which will run until September, will showcase a variety of entertainment, tourism, and cultural activities. Look forward to numerous events being held in several designated areas, including the City Walk, which offers a diverse mix of interactive experiences, motor and skill games, Arabic plays, concerts, restaurants, cafes, and retail stores, as well as a new family-friendly attraction, Warner Bros. Discovery: Celebrate Every Story.

From July 3: The global gaming community unites in Riyadh

Saudi Arabia is gearing up to host its debut Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh with a prize pool of over $60 million. Known as an elite multi-genre esports competition, it is expected to see over 1500 players with 30 esports clubs across 21 gaming titles. As well as watching the action, visitors to the tournament will be able to take part in a range of activities that combine sports, entertainment, education, culture and creativity.

July 11: Attend a dreamy Candlelight Concert

July 12: The best Arab fighters collide

Let’s get ready to rumble. The Professional Fighters League (PFL) Regular Season MENA is back in Riyadh with lightweights and heavyweights taken to the cage. This event features the best Arab fighters, with seven Middle East Champions competing for a shot at the PFL MENA belt. July (TBC): Prime Day 2024 returns

Brace yourselves. One of the biggest shopping events of the year, Prime Day, is making a return this July on Amazon.sa across Saudi Arabia. The exact dates have yet to be revealed, but there are plans for it to be even bigger and better this time around, packed with plenty of savings. We’ll share more details as soon as we get closer to the event.

Until July 28: Art lovers can experience Monet as never before

Step inside ‘Imagine Monet’, a new immersive exhibition in Jeddah. The temporary show, which is part of the Jeddah Season 2024 festival, will be the largest immersive experience of its kind in the country. The full-scale projections on the walls and floors will place visitors directly into Monet’s artwork, creating the experience of walking among the brushstrokes of pieces like Water Lilies. And thanks to state-of-the-art technology, ‘Imagine Monet’ fills the space and viewers are completely immersed in a universe of images, with total freedom to wander and explore their surroundings.
